• The tool reads the inbound MSH segment to extract the Message Control ID (MSH-10), Sender, and Receiver. 1. **Swap Header:** The Receiver becomes the Sender, and the Sender becomes the Receiver. 2. **Create MSA:** A new MSA segment is created referencing the original MSH-10 ID. 3. **Timestamp:** A new timestamp is generated for MSH-7.

Assumptions

• The input must begin with a parseable MSH segment so the tool can read separators, control ID, sender, and receiver fields.
• This generator creates a minimal ACK with MSH and MSA only; it does not add ERR, NTE, batching, or workflow-specific validation details.
• Timestamp generation uses the browser's current local time and does not preserve the original message timestamp or timezone offset.

Unit handling

• Original Message accepts text values.
• ACK Code accepts one of the configured options.

Rounding rules

• Number displays use up to 2 decimal places in the calculator UI.
