By accessing or using Calwarden, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site. These terms apply to visitors and account holders.
What Calwarden provides
Calwarden provides calculators, reference material, custom-calculator tools, saved-workflow features, and related information for general educational and planning use. Most calculations run in your browser. Some features, including accounts, cloud saves, calculator requests, analytics, and contact forms, use network services as described in the Privacy Policy.
Calculator results
Results are estimates based on the values, formulas, reference data, and assumptions shown. Calwarden does not guarantee that a result is accurate, complete, current, or suitable for a particular decision. Check your inputs and verify important information with a current primary source.
Calwarden is not a substitute for medical, financial, tax, legal, engineering, construction, clinical, or other professional advice. The Calculator Disclosure explains these limits in more detail.
Accounts and saved work
You are responsible for access to your email account, sign-in codes, and activity under your Calwarden account. Do not share a sign-in code or use another person's account without permission. You are also responsible for reviewing anything you save, import, export, or reuse through the calculator builder and cloud-save features.
Keep your own copy of information you cannot afford to lose. Calwarden may change storage limits, remove corrupted or abusive content, or suspend a feature. Saved data may be unavailable because of maintenance, provider failure, account access problems, or service changes.
Acceptable use
You may not use Calwarden to:
- break a law or infringe another person's rights;
- probe, bypass, disable, or interfere with security, access controls, rate limits, or site operation;
- send malware, automated spam, deceptive submissions, or harmful code;
- scrape or overload the service in a way that disrupts access for others; or
- misrepresent Calwarden results as certified, guaranteed, or professional advice.
Your submissions
You keep ownership of original material you submit. When you send feedback, a calculator request, formula, source, issue report, or other contribution, you confirm that you have the right to share it. You give Calwarden permission to store, review, reproduce, adapt, and use that submission to operate, improve, document, or promote the service. Do not submit confidential information or material that violates another person's rights.
Calwarden content
The site design, code, written content, calculator definitions, branding, and other Calwarden materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use the site for personal or internal business purposes. These terms do not transfer ownership or give permission to republish, resell, impersonate, or remove ownership notices from Calwarden content.
External services and links
Calwarden depends on third-party hosting, security, email, analytics, source, and issue-management services. It may also link to outside websites. Those services and sites have their own terms, availability, and privacy practices. Calwarden does not control or guarantee them, and a link does not by itself mean endorsement.
No warranties
Calwarden is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, Calwarden disclaims warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing on the site guarantees a financial outcome, medical result, legal position, technical performance level, or regulatory decision.
Limits of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Calwarden is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or decisions made from calculator results. Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the minimum amount required by applicable law.
Changes and enforcement
Calwarden may add, change, suspend, or remove content or features. Access may be limited or ended when needed to protect users, the service, or third parties, or when these terms are violated. These terms may also change. The current version will be posted here with an updated date, and continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
