LLM Token Cost Calculator accuracy and testing

Formula source

• The calculator prices one request by multiplying input tokens by the input price per million tokens and output tokens by the output price per million tokens. It then multiplies that per-request cost by the request counts you provide.

Assumptions

• Preset prices are checked-in snapshots and can become stale.
• Custom prices are entered per one million tokens.
• Each request uses the same average input and output token counts.
• The estimate does not include storage, vector search, moderation, retries, taxes, or minimum fees.
• All calculations run locally in the browser.
